Description

Delight in these Hot Chocolate Brownie Bites, made with your favorite boxed brownie mix topped with melty chocolate kisses and a luscious stabilized whipped cream infused with white chocolate pudding mix. Finished with festive marshmallows, peppermint, and chocolate sauce, these bite-sized treats are perfect for holiday gatherings or anytime you crave a rich, decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Bites

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients required on box: oil, eggs, water)
  • 24 chocolate kisses

Stabilized Whipped Cream

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant white chocolate pudding mix

Garnishes

  • Peppermint sticks, chopped
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan with nonstick spray to prevent sticking during baking.
  2. Mix and Fill: Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions, combining required oil, eggs, and water. Fill each mini muffin cup about two-thirds full with the batter.
  3. Bake Brownie Bites: Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain soft, ensuring they stay moist inside.
  4. Add Chocolate Kisses: Immediately upon removing the pan from the oven, press one chocolate kiss upside down into each brownie cup. Either leave as is or gently smooth melted kisses with a spatula to resemble cocoa.
  5. Cool and Remove: Allow brownie bites to cool completely in the pan before transferring them to a cooling rack. Use a paring knife to carefully loosen and pop them out without breaking.
  6. Prepare Stabilized Whipped Cream: In a very cold bowl, whip the heavy cream on high speed until it starts to thicken. Add powdered sugar and continue whipping until soft peaks form. Then add instant white chocolate pudding mix and whip until stiff peaks form, being cautious not to overmix.
  7. Pipe and Garnish: Once brownie bites are fully cooled, pipe the stabilized whipped cream on top. Garnish with mini marshmallows, chopped peppermint sticks, sprinkles, and drizzle with chocolate sauce as desired.

Notes

  • Use your favorite boxed brownie mix for convenience and consistent results.
  • Press the chocolate kisses into brownies right out of the oven for perfect melting and shape.
  • Whip the cream in a chilled bowl to help it stabilize better and achieve stiff peaks without curdling.
  • The instant white chocolate pudding mix stabilizes the whipped cream, allowing it to hold its shape longer.
  • Customize garnishes based on seasonal preferences or what you have on hand.
