Instructions

  1. Heat grill and grill pan: Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Place a grill pan on the grill and allow it to heat for approximately 5 minutes until hot.
  2. Prepare vegetables: Core and slice the green and red bell peppers. Peel and slice the Vidalia or yellow onions. Put all the sliced vegetables into a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
  3. Cook sausages: Place the Italian sausages onto the hot grill pan. Grill the sausages for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are slightly charred and fully cooked through. Remove the sausages from the grill pan and place them on a plate, tenting loosely with foil to keep warm.
  4. Grill vegetables: Add the prepared peppers and onions to the grill pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the edges of the vegetables become charred and tender. Remove from the grill pan.
  5. Serve: Serve the grilled sausages with the sautéed peppers and onions. Pair with your favorite side dish or enjoy on toasted rolls for a satisfying meal.
